Andrew Horowitz, DMD, MD, FACS![]() Board Certified Oral Surgeon in Scarsdale NYAbout Dr. HorowitzDr. Andrew Horowitz is originally from West Bloomfield, Michigan and has resided in the New York metropolitan area since 2000. He attended the University of Michigan and graduated with honors. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and the Matthew Cryer Honor Society. He then obtained his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he also completed a General Surgery internship. He went on to complete his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Horowitz is one of the select few Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in the area that has earned both a dental and medical degree. He is also one of the first Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons to be named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Horowitz has special training in implantology, facial trauma, maxillofacial pathology, bone grafting, reconstructive, and orthognathic surgery. He is a former faculty member at The Columbia University Medical Center and currently on staff at White Plains Hospital Center in White Plains, New York. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a member of the New York State Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Horowitz maintains active certification of Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Horowitz is an avid skier and tennis player who was ranked nationally as a junior. He currently resides with his wife and 2 children in Chappaqua, New York. Dr. Horowitz is dedicated to performing the highest quality care.
